HAF
Showroom

See exactly what HAF KNECT does before you join.

A walk round the network in plain words: what it moves, what your account opens on day one, and what a paid level actually changes. Nothing here creates a job, notifies a driver or takes a payment.

HAF KNECT

Work gets posted. Checked drivers take it.

HAF KNECT is the network where a job is posted once and the drivers who are cleared to do it can see it. This is the Demo Centre: it walks the product from three seats — the person posting the work, the driver doing it, and somebody getting cleared to drive — and ends with what each account level allows. Every screen named on this page is read out of the live product each time the page is built. It is not the live network, and nothing on it is real work.

How it works

Three moves, start to finish.

01

You post the work

Where it is collected, where it goes, what it is and when it has to be there. One screen. Any HAF account can post from the day it is opened.

02

The network sees it

It goes to the drivers who are cleared and near enough to do it. A job that cannot be placed comes off the board rather than sitting there going stale.

03

A checked driver takes it

Collection and delivery are each proved by the driver, and the job carries one reference from the moment it is posted to the moment it is paid.

What a job looks like

One job, as the network holds it.

This is the shape of a posted job: both ends, the load, the vehicle and the reference that follows it all the way through.

This job is made up for this page. It was written into the showroom by hand, it is not on the network, no driver can see it and nobody is being paid for it. A real job carries a reference in the form HAF‑date‑number, and what the driver is paid is worked out by the pricing engine at the moment it is posted — so this example carries no figure rather than a made-up one.

You have work. This is where it goes.

Every screen below is open to any HAF account from the day it is opened, free one included. Nothing here waits on documents, a payment or a level. Walk down it in order and you have shown the whole posting side of the product.

Driving work
PLNA, as a driver sees it

You drive. This is your day.

A driver gets two things. Inside KNECT they get the work: the board, the offers, the job they are on and what they have earned. PLNA is the app they actually run the day from. Both open only once Clever has released them by name.

The KNECT half of this is clickable on the demo database. PLNA itself has no separate demo yet, so the screens above are the real ones listed rather than a copy you can click. Showing PLNA live means signing in as a real driver, which puts a real person's day on screen — so it is listed here instead, and a demo PLNA is the next thing to build if you want to click through it on a call.
Getting checked
Clever, as a new driver sees it

How somebody gets cleared to drive.

Clever is the check, not the shop. Nobody pays it and nobody joins through it: a person opens their HAF account first, then Clever decides whether they are let near other people's work. These are its four stages, in order.

  1. Account
They open a HAF account first, at join.usehaf.co.uk. Name, email, mobile, date of birth, company if there is one, and a PIN. No payment and no documents at this point.
  2. Documents
They sign in to Clever and send what proves who they are and that the van is legal.
  3. Review
The HAF team checks the documents against the person and the vehicle. This is the part that protects everybody already on the network.
  4. Access
Clever releases them by name, and only then does the driving side open. Until that moment the account still works perfectly well for posting work.

The four kinds of person it asks about

What the sign-up form actually asks for

Read off the live join page, so what you promise on camera is what the person then meets.

Those two are the real thing, not a demo. Filling the sign-up in on camera creates a real HAF account and a real application. If you want to demonstrate it end to end, use your own test address and say so on the call — the account and its application can be wiped afterwards on request.
The part people get wrong

There are two doors, and money only opens one of them.

Joining HAF and being cleared to drive for HAF are separate things. Keeping them separate is what makes the network worth being in.

Open on day one

Driving the work

  • Take jobs off the board
  • The driver's planner and day sheet
  • Getting paid for completed work
No level of membership opens the driving door, and no amount of checking changes your allowance. They are two separate questions, and the network answers them separately.

Every level sees the whole product.

What a level changes is how much you can do with it, and what a job costs you — not which screens you get. Nothing is hidden behind a paywall.

The four limits are read out of the live allowance book on 11 September 2026. The prices in the bottom row are not worked out by this page: the live pricing engine, MATRIX-V8, priced every one of these jobs when the page was built, and the build stops if the network has moved to a newer matrix. Prices exclude VAT at 20%.
What a job costs

One matrix, and it is the same one the network quotes with.

A price is not a haggle and it is not a guess. Four things set it: the vehicle, how fast the job has to happen, how far it goes, and how hard it is to load. Everything else on this page is a consequence of those four.

The vehicle

Each size has a rate and a smallest charge, so a short job in a big van is never priced as if it were a small one.

VehicleRateSmallest charge
Small Vanbase£50
SWB1.25×£55
MWB1.25×£60
LWB1.5×£65
XLWB1.5×£70
Luton — Box1.75×£75
Luton — Curtain Side1.75×£75
Luton — Tail Lift1.75×£80

How fast it has to happen

The service level the job is posted at. Most work sits on the first three; only genuinely time-critical work carries a premium.

ServicePremium
Scheduled / Flexible / Co-loadno premium
Same-Dayno premium
Timed Deliveryno premium
Urgent / Time-Critical+10%

What else moves it

Named, capped and on the quote before anyone agrees to anything. No surprise on the invoice.

  • Every extra stop — £5 each
  • Waiting beyond the time allowed — £15 an hour
  • A heavy load for the van — up to 12% more
  • Anything other than kerbside — up to 8% more
  • All of those together — capped at 40% more
Short local work is charged less than the smallest charge would suggest: under 15 miles a job comes down by up to 30%, easing back to the full minimum by 25 miles. Fuel is the one thing that can move a rate after the fact, it only moves when pump prices run more than 8% over the market average, and it can never add more than 10%.
Read out of the live pricing matrix on 11 September 2026: MATRIX-V8, in force since 7 September 2026. Rates shown exclude VAT at 20%. Everything above this line is the customer's half of the matrix.
HAF's own side

The same job, from HAF's end of it.

Everything above is what the customer is quoted. This is what is left with HAF once the driver is paid, on the job picked above. Change the job and these move with it.

What HAF keeps£23.4423.81% of what the customer pays£20.4521.42% of what the customer pays£17.6519.05% of what the customer pays

A paid account costs the customer less and costs the driver nothing. The driver's pay is the same figure in all three columns above, so the whole of the difference comes out of what HAF keeps. That is what an account level is actually buying, and the build checks it on every one of the 288 example jobs rather than taking it on trust.

To be confirmed

Where a share of that margin is going to go.

A slice of what HAF keeps is earmarked to flow back out into the network. The destinations are set. The size of the slice and the split between them are not settled yet, so no figure for them appears on this page, and none should be quoted on a call until they are.

  • The affiliate who introduced the work
  • The drivers' pool
  • The freight pool
  • Relay and storage
These are HAF's figures, not a customer's. They are on this page deliberately, and they are readable by anyone who has been given a code. All of them came out of the same engine that quotes the customer, read on 11 September 2026.
